I've been to Asheville. I know what the whole thing is about. It's a rally to promote public acceptance of breastfeeding. You know, that thing that helps babies grow?

It's not a protest that's sexual in intent. It's to get people to stop thinking that a woman using her breasts for what nature intended is such a bad thing, especially when they're necessary to feed children.

There are many cultures that don't see breasts as sexual, and even ones that condone toplessness. This shouldn't be considered "sexually exploiting minors". The protesters were not literally fucking children, nor were they even letting minors participate. Seeing a tit or two won't scar these children for life.

It's not something that should even be an issue. Asheville's a place for the strange and arcane. There is a man dressed as nun who rides a unicycle through town.
