i have two workable theories on why the mainstream media rarely reports on men's health issues. either works, even both:

a) the media is focused on victimhood, for sensationalism of course. the reason why the media focuses more on women's health is because feminists have convinced people that all of women's problems are due to the oppressive nature of the patriarch. they'll play the victim and talk about how not much is being done to help women, and due to systematic sexism, women are at a disadvantage, thus their health problems only compound their suffering.

a recent example of this is that one feminist who was complaining about sexism in video games. after "the patriarch" went after her on youtube.com, she had a substantial claim to victimhood, and donations poured in to ease her suffering. similarly, the mainstream media emphasizes victimhood to attract more viewers.

b) women consume more media than men, and so it would make sense for media executives to focus more on women's issues. from a business perspective, i don't see a problem with this. however, this raises the question why are women the larger consumer base? there have been studies that show that women dominate social media websites, though i am not sure about television or radio statistics. the reason might be simple: women have more free time.

it makes sense, considering that women work less than men in terms of hourly salary, that they would have more free time. many women also rely on their husbands to bring home the money while they stay at home to raise the kids, and so the women have more opportunities to consume the media. women do not just consume more media, but also do most of the shopping. it is in advertisers' best interest to attract women.

advertisers from the medical industries might play a big role in this. by advertising to women all the medical problems they face, women will of course buy into their advertisements and demand more medical attention. thus, in a government-ran healthcare system like in the u.k., women will lobby the government to spend more money on them. even in the u.s., where our healthcare is not in complete control of the government, we can see women's organizations lobby for women's healthcare. this would explain the discrepancy in healthcare spending between the two sexes.

does this mean that men are not aware of their health problems? not at all. maybe men just don't have the time to lobby if they spend more time working than women do. or perhaps men are not so quick to fall for advertisements, and that they don't feel it's necessary to do so.

Feminists demanded discriminatory treatment against men, boys, and fathers in every aspect of life. Men face feminist discrimination in health care (where 65% of all spending goes to women's issues), in family court (where 95% of all single custody awards are to mothers), in workplace safety (where 93% of all deaths and injuries are to men), and so forth. Britain has become a heaven for feminists, which means it is hell for men, boys, and fathers.

Boys are treated like broken girls in K-12, men are treated like disposable robots, and fathers are treated like ATM machines. Britain was once a bastion of freedom and light in the world. Feminist darkness has engulfed this once proud nation, and bathed it in discrimination, sexism, and government hate of its own people.
