Actually, I do believe in equal punishments for men and women, and I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't make assumptions about me. It is true that there are times when both men and women get light sentences for crimes like this. It isn't a matter of women getting away with it while men are put away for life, and I think it's unfair to write a headline for this story that implies that. I didn't have time to search for a bunch of examples, but here's a story about a man who was busted with a ton of child pornography and is only serving about 3 years.

Believe it or not, it's possible to fight for men's rights without trashing women, just as it's possible to fight for women's rights without doing the same to men. I'm very much in favor of father's rights, attention to domestic violence where men are the victim, and several of the other things Men's Rights fights for. So maybe in the future you could look at what I've actually said rather than making assumptions.
