It's a ridiculous article. False rape accusations are problematic, but they're not epidemic to the point to where behavior should be restricted to that degree. You're probably more likely to be hit by a car leaving the private engagement than to be falsely accused as a result of it. While I do agree that reforms should be addressed for these kinds of situations, articles like this are alarmist and presumptive. I downvoted it because it does not contribute positively to /MR conversation. Rather, it promotes reactionary politics and general ignorance of reality and the shared experience of men.
