Very correct. We can't change a simple injustice by pointing it out. There is a large framework for dealing with men and the average person can just draw upon this framework, which seems to work in most areas, to show that the different treatment of men is not actually bad.

Suppose I say that women are just as capable of stalking and that we should help men who get an alarming amount of calls from their ex. The average person could laugh off my concern. After all, "the poor women must of had her heart broken while a guy who stalks is just being controlling". Then I would say that not all women are loving and men can have their hearts broken just ad easily. The other person might say "but the man doesn't have to worry about being attacked while the woman does". To which I talk about the symmetry in domestic violence. The person then says that "women hit because of love/emotion and not control". We are now starting to go in circle to which I give an arsenal of facts. Women can choose a guy for popularity or attention.Women can cheat, divorce, cockold men. And no they don't do it for the family because divorce hurts kids and some mother intentionally steal kids from the father for revenge. Women can also abuse the kids directly.

So basically, before I could get people to worry about women who stalk I had to show that women aren't always loving, they can hurt men, and they can be destructive to family/society.

We need to give a web of support for something to stick.
