I'm a little confused on how this relates to men's rights?

/r/mensrights is gay-friendly... so is the context here just that if women ruled the world - there would still be just as much or more homophobia?

Doug, I am normally a fan of your submissions, but this one is a little off. I agree that the statement by Janice Daniels was ignorant, but I don't think that it relates to the rights of men necessarily.

This is so much disingenuous bullshit. Heterosexual men are more likely to vote for homophobic politicians than hetero women, they're also more likely to respond negatively on surveys regarding homosexuality.

I support the MRM but I do not appreciate being used to score a few cheap points. As a gay man, the most violently, virulently homophobic people I've ever met have been men. The people that bullied me in school because I was gay were also male.

Obviously I don't hold every hetero guy responsible for deeds and beliefs of the homophobic pricks but, to put it bluntly, if every politician were female instead of male sexual minorities would be better off.
