Why can't you cook and clean? If you do, then why can't you accept your role? Not every woman (despite the stereotypes) has the patience for or the will to want to cook or clean. If she continues to fight you on it, why don't you ask for help and do it together instead of chores automatically being a one person job.

Do you do all the cleaning and cooking? If so I understand your wanting to divy it up a bit, it's only fair. 50/50 as far as household chores go. But people have to understand that men are, often-times, more willing to do the dirty, labor, stuff. If you're cooking and cleaning then have her mow the lawn and fix the sink.
