With this sort of thing it would be much better to have a comparison to male cases than a comparison to the theoretical maximum sentence (which, typically, few people get). I'm entirely prepared to believe there are double standards in sentencing, but even though 10 months is light compared to a 10 year theoretical maximum, you really need to compare to cases involving males (or, even better, statistics) to make the case.

It doesn't spell double standard, it's spells the usual for both men and women. Thank your bleeding hearts for that, the same ones that think the best cure for child molesters is therapy, instead of a nail driven into their forehead.
