Yeah you should try to get coffee or something similar first. That’s gives her some time to get comfortable with you first. You can ask what are you thinking, although that is somewhat entering her frame, but remember you can always get her back into yours.

Ehhh I asked a similar question a while back. Told the girl to meet me at bar x for first date. She countered with bar y (a bar I’d never been) asked the question if that was a power play on here and I was told I was overthinking. I was told if I wanted to check out the bar that it’d be fine. I did so I responded: “that’s a good idea, I’ve never been.” Met her and fucked her by date 3. She’s one of my best plates. Do what you want but if she invited you to a dance class and you don’t want to dance, then don’t go. Offer an alternative.

People keep saying to take her to coffee, but I think TRP advice is to make something active, to invite her into your interesting life.
