But...but...every patriarchal, rape culture influenced male knows that no one gives a damn about women being raped. All men know that women need substantial amounts of evidence just for an accusation of rape to go to trial instead of just their word.

So why did he let her go?

Also, everyone knows that women only lie about rape because of slut shaming. Not for personal gain, money, getting out of crimes, covering up infidelity, not getting a ride from a buddy, not having enough drinks bought for them, being called names, teaching men a lesson, revenge, or any of that other misogynistic crap so obviously this man is an attempted rapist so why isn't he in jail right now?
