Crocodile tears--I've seen women pull each other's hair out in bloody chunks, then knock each other's teeth out with their handbags. Anybody over toddler age who wails that much when slapped is just doing it for effect.

Back here a cop would have pinned you to the ground, handcuffed you, then maced you; regardless of gender. The officer should have arrested her for assault and not slapped her back.

IMHO, she slap her first but he is an officer and should restrain himself. If this was a case when a woman slaps a man and he responds back it would be totally different.

Also I dont think a man should respond back a slap, but I also think nobody should slap nobody.
