Do i have the "Date Framework" down?

so based on what I've read, ive gathered this:

Only use the phone to set dates.

Dont ask, suggest a place and time.

Make it an activity date followed by a venue change to a bar

choose a bar close to your/her place

give her plausible deniability to come back to your place (look at my guitar)

escalate

is this correct? if so, the trouble im having is when to go for the kiss, and essentially how to introduce physicality
