I gather the case worker was faking their reports. Seems like an investigation of the child protective services officers involved would be in order.

I couldn't bring myself to read more than one of two of the quotes from the boy's writings.

This was a terrible thing that happened to this boy. Now get this. The same treatment, or worse, is still occurring to kids in your community. This is not an isolated incident, this is not a "lower class", or racial problem.

I can almost gaurentee there are neighbours of these people who'll say something like " Ohh I thought something odd was happening there" or "Yeah I remember that kid, didn't see him for quite a while".

I don't care how nosey you are, keep an eye out for the kids in your community, if something seems suspect, call child services, and stay on their case!

The wonderful effectiveness of the state! Furiously aggressive when unnecessary and incredibly indifferent when actually necessary. They demand the monopoly on violence because they will stop this sort of thing from happening... it still happens. People all knew, but relied on the state to do the right thing...
