He could still be guilty but that's the nature of rape allegations. They are notoriously hard to prove when all you have is sperm and some bruises when you'd probably find both after a sexual encounter anyways. Unfortunately, testimonies hold a lot of weight in rape allegations, and so the defense was correct in digging up all the dirt they could find on her. Discrediting the accuser will discredit the only "evidence" the prosecution has to suggest a rape occurred, her testimony.

All of this does not excuse the character assassinations, smearing, and parading the media did immediately after the accusation. The MSM in the USA disgusts me.

If someone makes false accusations about another person, they should be incarcerated for the maximum time of the wrongly accused charge. Man or woman.

This statement, which is translated remember, on it's own is not evidence of any wrong doing at all. If it were in the middle of a conversation about how she was going to frame him it would be. But if this is the most incriminating sentence from the translation, we can conclude that she did not talk about framing him.

If the conversation went "Don't worry, this guy has a lot of money. I know what I’m doing. I'm going to be rich." They would have given the whole quote.

If the conversation went "Don't worry, this guy has a lot of money. I know what I’m doing. I'm standing up for myself despite that." Then that conversation is evidence that there is NO false accusation.
