I thought it was interesting because of the response in the comment sections.

I also think that that much money for a college degree is kinda crazy, but then again I go to a state school and out of state students can pay close to that if they went for 6 years.

As far as the MRM issue. Hmmm, this is a female centric scholarship and women make up ~60% of enrollments at college and they give less back to the community. If she was going into medicine or engineering or math then she would give more back....or maybe not, depends on how you calculate more. She might help more men lose custody and more men end up in jail. There is plenty of talk in feminist circles about how women are excluded from STEM subjects because of patriarchal oppression and blah blah blah but this girl has a free ride to do what this lady who donated the money supposedly never managed to do and instead of going into a subject that America needs more students of she will be pursuing this and thenw ill probably claim discrimination at some point because there aren't enough women engineers...WTF?

I will ignore the last bit as opinion, and repeat that this was private money. No MR issue.

Or she might learn to recognize the insanity in mainstream feminist dogma, and be able to really contribute to gender studies as a result. You and I can think what we want about the feminist grievance machine, but this is an individual and I don't know her. Do you?

Oh, I am so with you there. Regardless of her intentions, this girl is going to reach the same conclusion - that $160K should have been spent on training a female engineer. Perhaps it is living with that fact that makes so many overeducated feminists such heartless bitches. ;-)
