Personally I think it's a little of both, that out of female privilege we advance social decline for both genders.

Once the girl turned on the waterworks the story changed from "What is right?" to "How can can I make you feel better?" There is some sort of social or biological mechanics which make people feel sorry for crying females. This is why you hear MRA's talk about the pussy pass.

what annoys me is that this is news simply because a girl said it (it's just a girl, it's just a naive girly thing, she was just acting out, she is just immature.......and so on).

if a boy (of just about any age) had said this, he would be seeing a 'therapist', force fed drugs, and removed from school for other pupils safety (for other pupils, read: girls)
