I'm laying out a basic framework here and asking people to add their examples.

To help organize these examples, please begin each comment with some categories:

  • Commercial or PSA or TV program? (are they selling fast food, or just saying "be careful girls, because men are mean")

  • Advertiser? If it's a PSA, name the agency that it sends people to. If they're selling a product, name the product and the company selling it.

  • Date? approximate air / publication date in MM/DD/YYYY. (If you only have the year, just use 1/1/YYYY)

  • Where seen? (Add a URL with a better description and / or the ad itself if available If, as in my example below, there's already a discussion on a website, it's okay to link there provided that that site also links to the advertiser's art.)

  • Why objectionable? (in 10 words or less):

    • Rape/Abuse of Men portrayed as acceptable
    • Men portrayed as Rapists/Abusers(With an emphasis on PSAs)
    • Men portrayed as Inept

  • (describe the problem)

Exactly one entry per root comment, please. discussion after each entry is fine, though.
