• Plate went on 3 month vacation with girlfriends. I went all beta orbiter oneitis, and she lost Interest knowing I was waiting around for her. Sexy snapchats and late night messages ceased abruptly. She would reach out occasionally, only for validation or when she was bored (waiting at the airport, couldn't sleep, etc) and I replied minimally to these conversations, ignoring where possible.

  • After 2 weeks of no contact the following conversation happens:

  • Her: heyyy got a new phone if you ever wanna chat

  • Me: k

  • Her: passive aggressive

  • Her: I'm sorry how I handled all this but you've been very hard to read anytime we speak

  • Me: easy there, just busy at work

  • Me: what's up?

  • She has read this and not responded. This is the first time either of us has mentioned any deterioration of our relationship. Is she just freaking out at my refusal to assume this beta orbiter role? Any insight/advice would be greatly appreciated.
