My liberation as a man has nothing to do with womens' liberation. My liberation as a man is based entirely on my saying "non serviam!" to the rest of the human race, and doing as I please without regret or apology.

I could almost feel sorry for Tony, because I think he started well, then took a disastrously wrong turn in forming his worldview.

I think he probably started out questioning his socialization instead of blindly accepting it, which is the first step to becoming a free, mature individual; but then instead of freeing himself of all imposed values and determining his own, he jumped out of the "man box" and into the "feminist box."

He thinks himself free, but all he has done is swap one set of externally imposed constraints for another. He sees the world through feminist eyes, not his own.

He short-circuited the process, which was meant to end up with him critically examining everything and becoming a self-determining individual.

Instead he has just become a mouthpiece for feminist propaganda--such as claiming that male violence against women is at epidemic proportions and is the number one health concern for women--which a little bit of fact-checking on his part would have shown to be false.

This shows that he doesn't question feminism. He is still in a box. He's just following a different system of imposed views and values. He cannot be a mature adult male mentor because he is not a mature individual himself.
