I looked at that movie-competition debacle a bit, but it seems to me they're overreacting about the film not being shown; it was in a Competition to be shown... those that won were shown (if I understood this correctly)

I do think the overwhelming dominance of feminist ideas among swedish Amnesty members is a problem, though; it gets a bit one-sided and ideological, so I'm thinking of stopping being an active member because of it

Not that there's anything wrong with Amnesty, just that it's right now filled with people I don't enjoy being around.

The matter was publicized by blogger Joakim Ramstedt, who alleges that his government health benefits were then revoked because of his blogging and that confidential information from his own custody case (he has not seen his five-year-old daughter for over a year) was leaked and posted on the internet in an effort to smear him. Sweden prides itself on protections for privacy and civil liberties, but this may be what we can all expect when a welfare state manages our lives.

How does Amnesty International feel about retribution against whistle-blowers?

It seems that even the institutions that are supposed to be non-political are contaminated by the ideology of gender. We simply can't escape it wherever we look.
