Early this morning my father received notice that he is to appear in court on Monday morning on the other side of the state. This is coming to us completely out of the blue and thus we have not been able to contact the lawyer that we have been working with as it is the weekend. Is there any way to reschedule the trial so that my father may actually obtain his legal representation? Also, should I prepare some sort of statement? If so, would you suggest any certain "lines" be used in the statement? I'm not a terrible writer but any help would be appreciated. Please, help my father!!
