I spent time with a young woman,that I am romantically interested in and at the end of the night we were discussing a variety of topics, then the topic of patriarchy came up. Because of some of the informative posts that I have read in this subreddit I was able to provide counter points to her arguments. By the end of the night neither one of us had really changed the others opinions but we had had an enjoyable discussion and were both exposed to some new ideas.
