It is not just women who are the victims of spousal violence

I don't have time to read the article at the moment. But I bet men are equally if not more the victims of spousal abuse. Unfortunately most of them will never come forward, because they will be branded a sissy or of the sort. Therefore, we will never be able to compare the true numbers. I once heard of a man in a non-fiction book that went to the police because his wife was phyically abusing him. He was laughed out of the police station in the United States. It's a disturbing world we live in.

Edit: I believe the book was "Does Feminism Discriminate Against Men?" by Warren Farrell. I strongly recommend it, Warren Farrell is a great scholar.

It should get more attention! No one should have to stand the one they love hitting them or insulting them. Can't men that get abused get their damages documented at a hospital? Particularly if they have children this might help in case of custody battle.
