It doesn't fly. If I even wanted to, I could have a room full of people testify against the sanity of some woman I was in a relationship with after offing her but that wouldn't have a bearing on the fact that a judge would have a field day and throw me in federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison.

But there was a woman mentioned here on /r/mensrights not too long ago who was a serial batterer and killer and the judge 'gives her mercy' because she 'suffers' with some sort of problem and gets off with little more than a slap on the wrist.

No I don't buy it one bit. I've seen it first hand, now in the media and even non-entertaining articles on the news. It disgusts me completely.

Look. I can't stand it when it happens to women. Nor do I stand for it to happen to men. It's a two way street. You want respect, give it. None of this feigned "women's rights" when all I see are zealots claiming to fight a war against the male gender.

It's all bullshit.

If she came after you with a gun and you legitimately felt your life threatened, and could prove it in court, you wouldn't go to jail. The wife in this case has to prove the same thing in court, or she will go to prison too.

There are plenty of examples of men being acquitted because they killed women in self-defense:

Citation please? Somehow I suspect this is not an altogether accurate summation of the case.
