Came to our attention that she would most likely have her period that week, so I told her to get back on the pill so we can delay the period and make the most of the opportunity we have. She got shitty with me and stormed off, saying something along the lines of all I want is sex from her (like an immature child).

I sat her down and told her wanting to fuck her doesn't make me an asshole. It's part of being a man and there's nothing wrong with wanting to fuck your own girlfriend. Did I handle this correctly? I'll note that I didn't lose my cool and remained calm and collected despite her yelling and acting like a petty child.
