It's been a staple of feminists for quite some time now that wartime rape is not just a display of dominance of one side over the other, but an hate/sex/power crime against women. In Congo now there's wartime rape of men. I wonder how that can be twisted into a crime against women as well.

My opinion: Rape isn't about power. It's about sex. It just so happens that power is arousing to many.

WOMEN RAPED IN WAR. And, oh, by the way, men are being murdered and castrated (yes, castrated -- did you read that in the article?) Rape somehow has been elevated to be worse than murder and castration.
