seems like one would be able to tell assault from sex upon entering the room
were her friends closer than the police? If not, she wasn't interesting in helping her mom, but getting revenge

The daughter hated her Moms new boy friend and got her friends to beat him up and make him go away. It worked!

"The couple, recently broke up."

The 34-year-old woman, Melanie Arnold, said that the girl is her daughter. Arnold denied she was screaming, and said her daughter thought she heard a slap and believed an assault was happening.

Roger Swanson, said he didn't have a chance to explain himself. He said he tried to get away, but the teens chased him down and started beating him in the house.
