"Hey Anna, I want to see you before I leave" - this conveys the intention of my first message clearly and is 100% honest

Which of the above is better. I've been reading models and tryign to implement the honest/vulnerability. It argues that being Honest and making yourself vulnerable (by being honest) shows that you are willing to face rejection straight up and hence look less needy/invested.

Is this a good application of the teaching, if not why not and how could it be improved.
