I don't like the stereotype that sex offender = male, but part of the reason our society has it is because so many people think it'd be awesome to have sex with their teacher, as long as she's hot.

I don't agree with that, and think we should take these stories seriously. I don't think high school boys are in the best position to know whether it's smart to sleep with their teacher or not.

Take a look at the woman sunday school teacher that has been arrested for kidnapping & murdering that 8yr old girl in Tracy, CA. Everyone is 'so shocked' that it was her, saying that they obviously expected it to be a man.

I wonder if there are any other crimes going unsolved because the focus is on whatever MAN happened to be around.

I can't help thinking that "females that sexually abuse children" is not a "growing problem"...in all my experience with people it seems more likley that they are simply being prosecuted more often, I see it as much more likley that similar offenses have been occuring for some time and perhaps were more like to be swept under the rug before. I don't understand the "SEE WOMEN ARE BAD TOO!" thing...
