I was always the smart nerdy kid, and didn't have any hobbies when I was young. My parents tried, but they gave up as soon as I did. They could've pushed me in that regard, but they didn't and that's the past now. Growing up I became the "cool guy" solely due to me being different, knowing cool music, knowing how to dress, etc., but I never really developed hobbies, again. I never played sports, didn't play any instruments, but I got by, had a few girlfriends, whatever. Now, in college I swallowed the red pill and began developing hobbies! I paint, collect cassette tapes, lift, am teaching myself guitar and coding, but I end up with a problem.
The new friend groups I find myself with have been playing sports and gaming women for many more years than I have. Because of this, they have a huge advantage, and I find myself dreading going out with them + my girlfriend because I won't be as good in these types of things. I'm insecure and I know it. I fear that my girlfriend will leave me because of these things, but she's a good woman (so far) and I have abundance mentality because I still have some game. I just don't want to be known as a cuck. My question is, how can I ever get to the level these guys have been their whole lives? Game is no problem, I can handle AMOGing well enough and have been developing my game well. My main insecurity is sports and being dominant in a group. Being the cool guy allowed me to sit back and let the alphas do their thing, but things are different now that I'm older. Do I really have to be the best at everything (game, sports, social dominance) to be an alpha and keep women interested in me?
