She's 100% that it gets better on the other side.

I've often said feminism was a good thing for the female outlier (those who don't want children and are career driven and rewarded) but terrible for the average woman.

Obviously becoming a parent is a defining moment in anyone's life but my spouse and I were talking about it literally yesterday because I said something to the effect of "I would have been completely miserable without you and our baby. I cannot fathom a life without having more kids and raising a loving family." And while he feels like that for me and our baby, he ultimately said had it never happened he probably would've been fine with it... yet it's really become the central purpose to my life, and it's something I'm extremely grateful that I can have my family and make them the focus of my life moving forward.

such an important message. don't teach girls that they're disadvantaged because of their gender and they'll achieve greater things than clawing at society telling it to stop perpetually victimising them

You do not really need an man, I mean in dating scenes, you need men and women to sustain this civilization. There are people who live alone, like it, who cares..., but do not tell that men are useless.

Career is cool, but imagine if your career is the only think you can provide. You will have no real friend (I do not mean those buddies from work nor partners, I mean real friends), you will have no family, nothing. Not that it is bad, it is not, depends of the person, someone might like it, but do not blame others because of that. I had family member that was like that, divorced in few years, no kids, because he always traveled and work was his life. His new wife is same as him, they see each other maybe few times per year, they like the partnership, but it is not for everyone, you sacrifice everything for that. I would rather have common job, that does not maybe pay that much, with good friends, family, than be career guy.

Like she said, career does not really mean anything in older age. Most people that are 40+ do no care anymore... you have money, you are skilled? Who cares..are you good person, are you good husband/wife/friend, that is what matter. Biological clocks are hard to deal with, you do not have to please them, it is on you, but like I said, do not blame others for that and do not blame people if they ask "what about family and kids", it is norm. You do not have to please them, like I already said, but you have to accept that different choices bring different outcome.

I also liked when she said that "My body my choice" is valid, but you have to realize that this like any other choice, it brings questions. You are in your 20s, you feel like you can do anything you want to, be anything you want to. Do mean stuff, do stuff out of norms and other things. I was like that, it was really nice, but I never blamed anyone if something happened nor if someone tried to attack my believes, I owned them, I know what I was doing and I was self aware. I should study more, travel more, be open more to people, but I only blame myself. .
