This story takes place around 2015 or 2016 if memory serves correctly.

Me and my family were coming back from the Bahamas. We had a flight from the Bahamas to Georgia and then Georgia to Michigan if memory serves correctly.

The flight from the Bahamas to Georgia went smoothly. The same could not be said for the connecting flight.

There was a couple behind me who had clearly not had a good vacation, there had obviously been a ton of tension between the two. The female was very obviously drunk due to her speech pattern and overall appearance.

She was pissed off at him for something (assuming the things he may have said or done on their time in Georgia) and kept saying stuff about how she only married him for the money and that she should beat the fuck outta him.

The worst part was that she was slapping and hitting him through the entire flight. I was younger and didn’t want to get thrown off the flight or assaulted. I was extremely angry that none of the flight attendants did or said anything about this situation.

I was enraged when we were driving home and I heard my mom say that she would have done something if it was the other way around. Still pisses me off that if a girls drink and doing stupid shit like that or stressed and doing that stupid shit that it’s not her fault or how she shouldn’t be heals responsible. If a guy is drunk and does something stupid, his ass is on the line and he is getting taught a lesson.

It’s kinda like how some Karen’s just go on rants and get no real repercussions. It’s frustrating.
