There also an interesting case that happened in my state(I'm from India), A 17 yr old girl accused an 18 yr old guy of rape , (she got pregnant) he was taken to police station at mid night and even telling him what he did. The police beat him, threatened to use pepper spray on his penis. He was in jail for 35 days . When DNA test was done , it was found that he wasn't the one who did it. Both of them went to the same school. People are saying that the girls family has political contacts and that her boy friend was responsible for it. The guys name was revealed , the girls name wasn't . I dont know if the girl faced legal charges , I couldn't find any follow ups
