An 18 year old man has been jailed for the past 35 days. He is now released after his DNA test showed negative on a girl's pregnancy case. Srinath, a Plus Two student from Thennala, Tirurangadi, Malappuram, got bailed after the DNA test results. Srinath said he and the girl had only known each other for a year. Srinath said he was not afraid of the crime he did not commit. Srinath was remanded in custody on June 22 last year in connection with the case, by the girl's statement. The Manjeri court released him on bail after the result of a DNA test conducted at Srinath's request was negative.

Then her life should be ruined in prison. She should get as much time as the accuser would have gotten. This will make them think twice before falsely accusing someone.

And we me have another case of not prosecuting the perjuror because it may keep true victims from coming forward.

I've got some victims that need to come forward. They're victims of false accusations that end up serving various amounts of timenthatbthey can never get back.

They're the victims that will always be thought of...at least in some minds as guilty of what they were accused of no matter what.

They're victims because the original story got front page with photos and then announcement of his innocent and that the woman cried rape and went forward with it instead of admitting tonher significant other that she gave consent and pushed and led the way...or that shenregretted it the next day so she thought she could erase it from happening by reporting anrape that never was...

Yeah...that story is on page 8. Column D. It got a paragraph and a half and used words like "perjuored herself on the stand" instead of saying "she lied about being raped" and "he lost years of his life due to consensual sex that she regretted because her husband caught her cheating."

Or in the OPs case, "Girl knew she was pregnant and decided to consensually sleep and get caught by her parents and cries rape so she wouldn't get her boyfriend in trouble"

(I didn't read the story yet. I based it on something that happened to a friend of mine. Even though he was proven innocent, it cost him several thousands of dollars and he is still vilified innhis community while the mother/liar isbtrrated with care and respect. )

All this nonsense....but Believe all Women right? Let's not prosecute false accusations because it willnkeep the real victims from coming forward.

Instead of using common damn sense and saying "If I punish these assholes that have ruined the lives of innocents...it will keep.some from coming forward and trying that false rape accusation bullshit!!!"
