One of the main FDS tenets is to never initiate a conversation and let the man come to you. That makes sense in the context of FDS, but it also sort of confuses me - if I'm initiating every interaction with a hopeful date or even with anyone my first reaction is going to be "dang, I'm probably boring her" and as such I'll leave her alone. Is there some kind of balance to this or am I just flat out wrong?
