My ex-wife did that. That night I called her grandmother. She was the only honest one in my ex's family. She told me my ex was "bitter". She'd been suffering from post partum depression.

The next minute I called a divorce attorney and made and appointment for the next morning. That morning, he suggested I file for divorce and custody immediately. Even though we weren't really fighting, I knew that bitter means emotionally detached so I filed.

My 9 month old son was back in my custody within 36 hours.

In this case I prefer both sexes were called what the woman here is called.
