I do not think that women, even average women are so picky, if they were, you would not see average couples together, really. I just think that women are able to pick much more, even if they are average than average men. I am sorry to say this, but this just scream insecurity. People who really believe they are "good" or "why no woman want me" just mean that you are really not what you think you are. Of course that people have standards, but many people will sacrifice a lot of them, because they found someone that they can connect with.

The problem is that most people think they just need to wait and some day, someone will come. No, that is not how it works, you need to work on yourself and meet people. Find hobbies, take care of yourself, eat healthier and try to hit gym. It does not even have to be gym really, just any sport is OK I would say. Let your look tell people that you take care of yourself. Nobody wanna be with person who only work and then go home and do nothing, spending all his/her time on PC/TV.

Also, using tinder is toxic and most of those women are also toxic or dead beat, which is where a lot of those things come from. Find hobbies, communities where you can find potential partners.

Women have (maybe) never had lower standards than today. I'm not super hot, I have 3 diagnoses, I work at a convenience store, don't really life weights, and I pull girls all the time. My last gf had a masters degree, nice job, gave head like a goddess, and bought stuff for me all the time, and was insanely hot. I had to break up with her tho, she was necrotic and I cant have that shit around me.

Confidence, sense of genuine personality, social authority and not investing in more emotional attachment than her, is key factors here. I would bet a lot that you are missing something here. Everything society (and women in particular) give you directions that are just straight up wrong. Most women want classical machoism, even though they front it like machoism is wrong or toxic or whatever.

Dating is easy - finding someone you can spend the rest of your life with is the hard part. Remember; girls don't care about looks compared to men. They see the total in a bigger degree than men do, so just groom ur shit, and fake it till you make it.
