You are invited to participate in a research study called “Men’s Dating Experiences, Attitudes, and Behaviours.” As the title suggests, we are interested in better understanding the experiences, attitudes, and behaviours of men who are currently dating or have dated in the past (e.g., gone on dates, used dating apps). Given that many men experience dating at some point in their lives, it is important for us to be able to identify what factors may make the experience more positive or negative, knowledge that will hopefully lead to a more enhanced experience for everyone. As such, this study will ask potentially sensitive questions regarding your mental health experiences (e.g., anxious or depressive symptoms). The study will take approximately 20 minutes and is completely anonymous.

To qualify, you must be age 18 or over, identify as a male, and be either actively dating, open to dating, or have recent dating experience.

This research (BEH 2689) received approval from the University of Saskatchewan Behavioural Research Ethics Board on June 28, 2021.
