So I’ve hooked up with this girl that came over to my house and even sent me nudes before. She came over and we hooked up consensually (making out) and had no sex of any kind. Afterwards she was distant and now months later she unadded me on Snapchat.

Days after I hit her up to make sure she was okay bc she didn’t speak to me after. I knew she was a “virgin” so the truth is I was more worried about her lashing out on me bc we hooked up and she’s trying to protect her dignity. She assured me she’s fine just less interested than before and then saying how “she always just wanted to be friends”. This is backwards asf bc she made it clear she was okay with sexual contact and we didn’t even take it to that level. Her standoffishness concerns me and I feel like I can’t be the only one.

People will say “well if you just treat every girl with respect you’ll never have to worry about a me too situation coming to you.” I think that’s absolutely false because the me too movement has now been Weaponized by women against men. It doesn’t matter if most women will not make a claim against you or if a false claim doesn’t materialize. False claims of even sexual harassment can ruin someone’s life.

The main reason I’m concerned is that I have actual celebrity friends who are getting me in the mix to be more popular lately growing a social media following, but this can be with anyone. I feel like it’s absurd that I would have to save texts and Snapchat to protect myself in the future God forbid 30 years down the line I am someone who a girl might want to get a paycheck out of. My anxiety is at an all-time high now because the reaffirming texts that we had in Snapchat are now gone because I unadded her by mistake after she unadded me. I naturally do this after someone unadds me.

I just felt like I had to rant because I feel like I can’t say this to anyone irl without someone assuming I’m guilty of something which I’m not. Because if most men were to say these concerns out loud, it would come across as “fishy”. Nevertheless the prospect of getting in trouble for something no one could have ever seen to know the actual truth is scary as hell. I’m tired of worrying about this.
