After the case, do the following. Request all official documents regarding the case. Ask for names of the investigators, case managers, coordinator, and who made the resolution/dismissal.

Get the outcome formally in writing. Ask for the original allegations in writing as well.

If you feel your rights have been violated by the process you can often get a free consult with an attorney outside the school. Also consider that if you are filing a complaint against the school you are not obligated to use the school Title IX office. You are allowed to file with federal OCR. For filing there is no charge and you are not required to have an attorney, although it sounds like one might be a good idea. I would get a consultation with one to see what's what.

Oh, and don't forget. Don't talk about the case online when you were a defendant, even after the school clears you. Again, do not talk about the case. The only person who you should talk to about the case is legal representation.

Well, I don't know what you're expecting anyone to say, but you've probably done all the prep you can at this point, and nervousness isn't going to help. If I were you I'd read something unrelated but engrossing to relax.

Been there too! I got recommended not guilty as well and the case was closed. Also was nervous as fuck and now I just passed the 4th anniversary of the day and I’m living in a new city with a new job and enjoying life. You’ll get through it
