Isn't this following precendence? She gets his inheritence too right? This is completely seperate from punishment for murder, (which is life in prison iirc, or the death penalty), but when any sentence is completely carried out, no further rights are forfeited.

For example, she can permanently injure him, go to prison, gets divorced, pay his medications, and still claim half his worth. This is the case already, this just seems weird because this is no longer the death penalty*.
