Hired a termite management contractor (there is a termite problem in the house), costs are being covered by the building's management. He comes on a weekly basis to put baits on specific high-activity areas (for termites). He's been here once a week, for three weeks so far.

I roughly understand that he is putting baits and poisoning worker ants. I am confused as to whether the situation is going well, indeed if it is worsening or not.

Last week and this week I asked him what the updates were on the situation, he repeatedly told me 'like I said, this is nature', 'let nature take its course', 'it is nature's course', and 'only god knows how it will turn out'.

He refuses to give me any solid information on the current situation. I am deeply confused by his insistence on this policy of blind faith.

Perhaps by asking 'how is the situation going', 'does it look worse or better' am I asking the wrong questions? What other ways can I ask to get an update of the current situation (the next time he comes)?
