I have had a vasectomy about three months ago because I do not want children and I want to be able to retire in my 30s or 40s. If I am dating a woman, should I tell her early that I've had a vasectomy? It seems reasonable because if the woman wants a child, she can move on to another man. If she is happy being childfree, she can stay. However, bringing up the topic of vasecoctomy at the beginning of a relationship seems awkward, so is it something that should be brought up early while dating or later? Or should it just be considered private and not be mentioned at all?
