An interesting topic, because I feel like MGTOW's philosophical background used to be more libertarian/rebellious/individualist in its very own foundation, but I feel as the community grew, so did the number of hijackers.

Now to be fair MGTOW still doesn't have a solid meaning behind its foundation, I mean the plain meaning behind it all, is, don't get married, don't cohabitate with a woman and don't let society shape you up as a person

So what has happened?

Well I feel like MGTOW has sorta turned its back on being black pilled rather than on being red pilled

For starters a lot of them feel that because female sexuality (and to some extent even male sexuality) is becoming unchecked and unchallenged, it is causing an infedility crisis

Here's the thing though, how do we know if relationships were more stable back then?

Yes maybe things like slut shaming and sex until marriage may have been the norm

But you realize also, the whole irony is that, before the advent of social media, people had more privacy and serecy in their relationships, now relationships just like everything else, are plain walking advertisements

So while maybe society may have been more sexually prudish at large, relationships weren't treated as a currency like they are now thanks to the advent of social media, the commercialization of the dating scene and the corporatization of Valentine's I would even say

Also, as that one article said, tradcons are weaponizing the male sexlessness around and leveraging it as an excuse to go back to a more prudish society, not realizing is only GOING TO PHYSCOLOGICALLY HARM incels even more because are TOO undersocialized still for a serious relationship

But of course who cares when all sex is gotta be viewed as "productive" to society, right?

The only way to test out whether or not people are truly monogamous as many tradcons claim then is to test it out in a hunter gatherer society(I literally post on Anarco Primitivism subs lol)

There are still plenty of libertarian MGTOWs at heart, TFM being one example, while he preaches alt right/tradcon slang, just keep in mind is him trying to appeal to a wider audience that's all
