Here’s a good example of how dating apps are used to inflate the ego of many women.

She’s not offering anything here other than her looks and a history of self destruction. But she expects men to compliment her and entertain her with no payoff.

The ironic part of this profile is that the men that have apparently taken her for granted and emotionally abused her likely didn’t have to do either of those things. Nothing in this profile suggests she’s changed what she’s actually looking for/attracted to either.

I wanted to give her props on a bit of accountability in mentioning her naivety. But the rest of the profile makes me think she uses that more as a shield and way to be a victim rather than as something she’s actively working on…

A great many women use apps (not just dating ones) for this purpose. Her rank honesty gets her +.05 points, which doesn’t actually make a difference, still. I think we can infer that she’s passed around by guys who don’t complimenther, thus we get further proof for the notion that compliments need not be present for attraction to exist.
