Lol, yes. It's a great book precisely for that reason. Daisy in some ways is a classic example of mate-switching theory i.e. she was amazed by Gatsby but when he was unavailable, she quickly moved on. Later when Gatsby comes back in the picture (and she has a rocky relationship) she sees a better future with Gatsby. IMO, she would have stuck with Gatsby if his gains were not ill-gotten and she didn't have a daughter (less of an issue in 21st century).
