As far as we are aware we have no choice about who we are, our initial external aesthetics, our characteristics, our skills, who our parents are? Do we really have free will if everything is already chosen for us? So who are we?

We have no choice about who we are, when we are born, who our parents are? what country we are born in, our characteristics, our inherent hair colour? It has been clearly documented and can be observed that our environment shapes us, therefore our country, parents, school system are huge influencers on our character, personality, strength, confidence, which are for the most part outside of our control/choice until we reach self-awareness and a particular level of consciousness in young adulthood. However, for the most part our characters have already taken shape and have been chosen for us? So who are we?

What choice do we really have? Unless we create our choices prior to birth which we can not remember for specific reasons after birth?
