I am trying to understand what psychologically is happening in two situations:

  • You know girl before she joins new job, where she meets new people, males and females. They go to drinks together after work. OK

  • You know girl after she works in a place for half of year. She made a base of friends there, and while she was single she attended home parties with male and female co-workers. Now last girl from that group of friends left to foreign country and only guys are left in that group.

For first situation I really don't have a question, she should go to drinks if female are included and politely ignore if only males are there, if she respects me.

But second situation is tricky, since she already built "friend-base" before she met me.

How do you expect her to behave in second situation? Disregard those male friends or still have drinks with them, while there is no female in group, nor me? I think this is disrespect.

I will never waste my time to mate guard, but what should I expect and is it disrespect to me, that she still continues going to drinks with them(they don't work together anymore) after she is with me, or should she suggest me coming along or just disregard them?
