Either nobody gets drafted or both genders get drafted, those are the only two fair options

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I completely agree. The draft should be abolished and feminists agree with you too

[–]sourcreamandchedder 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

I mean, men have been dying for their country for generations. it's time you ladies stepped up.

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, it's men who are stopping women from doing this.

[–]TrilIias 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

The male Republican politicians like Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz who have opposed female conscription have stated that they had been approached by many of their supporters encouraging them to oppose the female draft. They said that most of those who approached them were women.

But yes, men are generally fine with throwing men under the buss for the benefit of women.

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Ahow me where they have made these statements.

[–]TrilIias 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Here's one example that I was able to find from Republican representative Chip Roy: https://mobile.twitter.com/chiproytx/status/1465390409857785856

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Every person who twitted #dontdraftourdaughters was either a man who didn't support it or a woman talking about how we should draft women. There was one tweet against it and it was writing by a journalist who was criticizing WHY dems support this rather than actually viewing women as equal.

This man gave no examples. It's sounds like one person approached him and he exaggerated it.

[–]TrilIias 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

"Every person who twitted #dontdraftourdaughters was either a man who didn't support it or a woman talking about how we should draft women."

I don't know, sounds to me like you're the one prone to exaggeration, or rather outright falsehood. Also, he did give an example, he mentioned strangers in airports.

Here, enjoy every second of this. It was the fourth tweet, and the first one that wasn't from Chip Roy when I searched for #dontdraftourdaughters on twitter.

I don't even know what sick, disgusting game you are trying to play by claiming that only men are ever responsible for this evil misandry, but I've already lost patience with you and this has been a very brief conversation. There are no excuses for treating men as if they are disposable, and I have no interest in putting up with trash conservatives like you who try to make excuses for it or to deny that women are ever responsible. We've sheltered women from enough responsibility and blame for their actions already.

I realize how irrationally angry I sound, but honestly, I'm just surprised I'm one of the only ones. I don't usually personally attack people online, but you deserve it.

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Yeah in what I could see I couldn't anything.

As for that video most of those women are sexist against women and men. I'm not gonna sit there and listen to sexists as to why one gender is disposable.

And it's only men. You need to remember that the draft was created by men because they thought women were weak. Women and men are sexist against women and men. That's why we have gender roles.

But all of these hold backs against men were created by men. So go be bad at the patriarchy that's holding you back. Feminists want to destroy the patriarchal so it benefits women and men.

So stop being so overly sensitive.

[–]TrilIias 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Let me see if I understand this right.

I argued that some women are sexist against men. You asked for proof. I gave you proof with almost no effort. So your response is that they are sexist, so you are therefore going to ignore them? You won't accept sexists as an example of sexists, because you think sexists deserve to be ignored?

Also, you have no roof whatsoever that those women are sexist against women, but we have video evidence proving that they are sexist against men. Unless you want to argue that what they were saying wasn't blatant misandry. I dare you.

And it's only men.

Stop lying. There's a video. I sent it to you.

You need to remember that the draft was created by men because they thought women were weak.

Women are weak. It would have made no sense to draft women in 1920. But no we have technology and a generation of women insisting that they are just as capable as men (even in the same exact video here they argue women shouldn't be drafted, again see the video I spent 30 seconds to find).

But all of these hold backs against men were created by men.

Men have historically held direct power, but do not underestimate the power held by women. One interesting thing most people don't know is that women's suffrage was opposed primarily by women. Not even traditionalist conservative women, by progressive women active in other areas of women's rights. On of the reasons was that politics was seen as very dirty, partisan, and untrustworthy. Many women were actually worried that gaining the vote would lower them to men's level. At the time, women were able to go directly to politicians and lobby for their interests. They were considered to not be motivated by partisanship and to be pure angels interested in the public good, and were thus considered more trustworthy. This didn't mean that hey always got what they wanted, but they often did, and many women didn't want to lose the special influence they enjoyed.

Feminists want to destroy the patriarchal so it benefits women and men.

No, feminism wants to convince society that everything bad in the world is men's fault and that women are pure angels. And guess what, that's the benefit of having indirect power. When you have direct power, you are held accountable for your actions, and that has always and especially historically been very dangerous. By granting women indirect power, people like you are able to convince yourselves that women didn't have any power at all, when that simply isn't true.

Whenever feminists try to say that feminism is just about equality, I always disagree and point out that feminism is just about casting men as the oppressors of women. And that's all you are doing now.

You disgust me.

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Did you strain your arm reaching so far?

[–]EdessaKandros 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

If we are striving for an equal society, women being drafted as well as men makes sense. I only ask for them to have the genders segregated. I’ll gladly die for my country but I’m not going to shower or bed with men.

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Where do it states that women are expected to shower with men?

[–]EdessaKandros -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

It doesn’t matter whether it states it or not, I’m just not going to shower with men.

[–]Sperm40mmSprintChamp 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You are kind of making up a point to get mad. It's federal law that the US Military separate men and women for housing. Been like that for a very long time. Even prohibits men and women from even entering the spaces of others, women can't have a male of any level even enter their living area, same goes for women entering the male areas.

Housing is the only area men and women are separated and it's extremely strict, it's considered "prison like" it's so strict.

[–]EdessaKandros -3 points-2 points-1 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I’m not mad, I’m just not showering with men.

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

So you're making shit up. Got it.

[–]EdessaKandros 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Making what up?

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It doesn’t matter whether it states it or not, I’m just not going to shower with men.

[–]EdessaKandros 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, and?

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

My god you're so fucking dumb I'm gonna cry

[–]EdessaKandros -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Are you black?

[+]zmasterv_8 -9 points-8 points-7 points 4 years ago (25 children) | Copy Link

This is bad news. Women need to stick to their traditional gender role, just as men need to. We have different genders for reason, were not all biologically equal. We were meant by god and nature to conform to our role.

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (19 children) | Copy Link

Gender is different from biologically. Automatically you show a lack of education.

Not every believes in the religion that you do.

Lastly, this shows that you are sexist and not critically thinking about antifeminism.

Overall, you lack critical thinking skills.

[–]zmasterv_8 -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

Gender is different from biologically.

Gender is biological, i have balls and wiener and im more likely to be taller then the average women for a reason.

Not every believes in the religion that you do.

All mainstream religions would agree.

Lastly, this shows that you are sexist

Define sexist.

[–]TechDude30 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Sexist: 'relating to, or fostering sexism, or attitudes and behavior toward someone based on the person's gender'

  • a sexist remark

Women need to stick to their traditional gender role

If you honestly think saying a quote like that by telling women where they belong doesn't make you sexist then man are you lacking common sense. Why not try telling a lady "hey go to the kitchen and make me a sandwich" and see exactly where that gets you.

[–]zmasterv_8 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Sexist: 'relating to, or fostering sexism, or attitudes and behavior toward someone based on the person's gender'

So being rude to someone because of their gender, i wasnt being rude to any women. I believe that all people should stick to their traditional gender role, this is not rudeness but instead it is wanting a properly functioning society.

If you honestly think saying a quote like that by telling women where they belong doesn't make you sexist then man are you lacking common sense.

So if i believe women belong in womens bathrooms and not mens bathrooms then thats sexist by your logic as that is telling someone where they belong based on their gender.

By this logic sexism is just a natrual necessity in the world. Theres a reason we segregate women and men and put them in their proper roles. Women and men arent equal, they have certain strengths and weaknesses in certain aspects of life.

Why not try telling a lady "hey go to the kitchen and make me a sandwich" and see exactly where that gets you.

That depends on the context in which it is used in and on what perosn it is used on that will determine the reaction. If i told to my wife (whsn i have a wife) she would likely tell me to not be so rude but would do it. If i told this to a random person on the street it would depend on the persons personality to take it as a joke, an insult, or just be confused.

[–]TechDude30 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Telling someone to stick to their gender rolls is being sexist. Do you really think "It's called Fire-MEN, not Fire-WOMEN. Women need to stay out of it" and not view that kind of logic to be sexist?

And what does bathrooms have to do with this at all? Your just grasping at whatever you can in order to make your sexist claims be validated now. Come on, that's just being stupid at this point.

And buddy let me tell you something, when saying "go back to the kitchen and make me sandwich" here's what it means

"a catchphrase often used on the internet in order to mock or discredit women in a satirical manner but is also a stereotype based on women belonging in the kitchen." If you feel that you can say such a thing while also saying "Im not being sexist you guys, I'm just telling this lady here where she belong" surprise, your being sexist.

[–]zmasterv_8 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

gender rolls is being sexist. Do you really think "It's called Fire-MEN, not Fire-WOMEN. Women need to stay out of it"

I'd say the same to a man if hes acting all feminine and fulfilling feminine jobs like.

And what does bathrooms have to do with this at all? Your just grasping at whatever you can in order to make your sexist claims be validated now.

What? Nibba it was an example for why gender segregation is a natrual part of life and a good thing in general, dont blame me if you didnt get it.

If you feel that you can say such a thing while also saying "Im not being sexist you guys, I'm just telling this lady here where she belong" surprise, your being sexist.

Nibba, look at my account. Does it look like im the type of guy to hide my views? I wasnt denying if i was being "sexist" and prove why its either a good thing or prove that im not "sexist" by your definition at all. I wanted to see if i was sexist by YOUR definition. Definitions for such phrases are vague and can many definitions depending on the wording used to define it.

[–]TechDude30 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Then by my definition you are sexist and quite proud of it seeing how you continue to double down.

If you honestly feel that men and women should be segregated and be given jobs/roles in life that suits their given gender then yes your not just incredibly sexist but shows your kind of mindest works best way back in the 1920's. Tell me something does a women wearing pants make you angry, or a man wearing a kilt gets you upset?

Women and men can have whatever kind of jobs they so wish so take your nonsense of "only men can have these jobs while women can only have these jobs" ideology somewhere else ok princess?

[–]zmasterv_8 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

but shows your kind of mindest works best way back in the 1920's.

Based

Tell me something does a women wearing pants make you angry, or a man wearing a kilt gets you upset?

As long as the women in question is wearing feminine pants.

As for a man wearing a kilt, yes that does get me angry unless they're irish as thats part pf irish culture.

Women and men can have whatever kind of jobs they so wish so

Ok, i wanna get pregnant (im a male), i want to get pregnant. I want a baby inside of my stomach. Is this normal, acceptable, and possible to you? If so, face the wall progressive.

take your nonsense of "only men can have these jobs while women can only have these jobs" ideology somewhere else ok princess?

Im not a princes im a male. So you mean prince. And no i will not "take it somewhere else" i want to spread this in my glorious Hispanic America and unite them as one to fight against your progressive imperialism and neo colonialism.

[–]TechDude30 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Well who are you to judge if the pants she wants to wear are manly? Who are to judge and question if the person is Irish? What about those of mixed blood and don't look Irish?

And when I said job the first thing to pop in that head of yours was getting pregnant?

All I know is there's seriously something wrong in that head of yours if this is your way of thinking. Oh look over there a female wearing manly pants. Get off that high horse of yours and take your preachy crap to a different sub.

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

You are male. That is sex not gender.

It's wrong to push your religion as you cannot scientifically prove it.

A person who discriminates on grounds of sex or gender. You believe women must be one way or it's wrong. That's sexist.

[–]zmasterv_8 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

You are male. That is sex not gender.

Gender is used to describe sex.

It's wrong to push your religion as you cannot scientifically prove it.

Ugh, Athiest. Yes it has, how about you read the bible or go to church. The bible has great historical significance. There is not one location in the bible which doesn't exist. The people were real and it has been proven.

A person who discriminates on grounds of sex or gender. You believe women must be one way or it's wrong. That's sexist.

By this logic of the term sexism its not only a natrual part of life but also a good thing in general. Theres a reason there are different gendered bathrooms, gender segregated prisons, gender segregated clothing, etc etc. Women and men are not equal and have different features and abilities for a reason. Men cant get pregnant and women biologically have more endurance than men.

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Still not the same thing.

I'm not an atheist.

Discrimination: "To make distinctions on the basis of class category without regard to individual merit, especially to show prejudice on the basis of ethnicity, gender, or a similar social factor."

An unethical way segregation. There's a push for gender neutral bathrooms. Gendered clothing is stupid. Discrimination doesn't apply to procreation or prisons as there are ethical reasons for it.

You don't have ethical reasons. You are sexist.

[–]zmasterv_8 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Still not the same thing.

Still gender IS physical and NOT a "social construct"

I'm not an atheist.

You made an athiest argument, i guess you're agnostic.

An unethical way segregation. There's a push for gender neutral bathrooms. Gendered clothing is stupid.

Ok, in that case face the wall progressive.

You don't have ethical reasons.

Yes i do but ok, you wouldnt agree with my view 9f morality anyway. Not everyone has the same morals.

You are sexist.

By your definition, based.

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

You're still thinking of sex.

I'm not agnostic either. You can't use your religion to control others.

What are you're "ethical reasons"?

[–]zmasterv_8 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

You're still thinking of sex.

No, gender is used to describe sex.

I'm not agnostic either. You can't use your religion to control others.

That was an assumption, how is an assumption controlling someone? Then what is your religious belief?

What are you're "ethical reasons"?

Its traditional, faithful, natrual, and beneficial to the collective of the nation.

[–]dramaticdeathlyhoe[S] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

There are transpeople where their gender doesn't describe their sex.

My religion is irrelevant. Religion is never a good reason to deny rights or access.

You need to be more specific. Because in some cultures it's traditional, natural, and beneficial to eat people. You have no grounds.

[–]Captain-Crunch78 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

women can do certain military jobs better than men, biologically they're better multitaskers. there shouldn't be a war draft period

[–]EdessaKandros 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Women are Great War nurses and apparently both men and women report feeling more comfortable around female nurses. I feel like if I was drafted I’d sign up to be a medic or something.

[–]Captain-Crunch78 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

i don't want to be drafted period, im a pacifist, id rather die then take an innocent persons life, if my nation can't be mature enough to not force their citizens into war then it's a country im not willing to fight for.

[–]zmasterv_8 -4 points-3 points-2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

women can do certain military jobs better than men, biologically they're better multitaskers.

Well idc if women go in non combat roles in the military. They can be a nurse, recruiter, administrative clerk, etc etc. I was talking about combat roles within the military.

there shouldn't be a war draft period

Yea there should. If theres a war being fought we would need people to fight, as many as we can although balanced number (we need factory workers). Its always good to have many troops to win a war. I'd even say military service should be mandatory.

[–]Captain-Crunch78 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

war has done nothing but hurt the economies and patriotism of a country post war. i understand that military power maintains some level of peace but war drafts shouldn't be necessary from a country as powerful as the US or Russia, the two most powerful militaries in the world.
