Most of the posts I've seen about texting dwells on the main idea of using it for logistics. Only really texting the girl for a date or such.

I'm 17 and currently about to enter Community College (Straight from highschool). Today I got a number but like not sure where to go from here.

I've seen not to text Beta like (how was your day, what are you up to? Etc) So like wtf! Im underage so not like I can go to a bar, Have no money of my own to go movies or what ever and where I live there are little recreational places in this island - unless being very expensive. . . which are mostly concerts.

Sorry if the solution is obvious to you the reader, but I've been quite the beta bitch back in the day stuck on video games. First time texting somewhat alpha.
